Collaborative Law

Lawsuits and head-to-head conflicts can be very taxing, both physically and emotionally, as well as financially!

Imagine if the parties and their attorneys could contractually agree at the outset to settle their disputes without going to court. What if the parties could avoid lengthy—and costly—“discovery” by agreeing to disclose and exchange all information required to make sensible and fair decisions?  What if the result yielded a less expensive, less emotionally destructive, and more dignified resolution for both parties?

Then you may want to learn more about the collaborative process.  Mr. Ogilvie is an active member of the Denton County Collaborative Professionals and the Global Collaborative Law Council, two groups seeking to better the resolution process for those parties seeking to stay out of court as much as possible.
